The Internet is broken. We know how to fix it.
That's a big message. It will only be received when we can get audience members, and particularly their thought leaders, to stop, step back, and think.
That means we have a big job ahead of us.
And we have a great team of community organizers that's up to this big job. So let's get started.
For our presentations to thought leaders we plan to use a format that we call "Lessigshow." It's well suited for presenting new things.
What follows is really a script for our Lessigshow, a storyboard if you wish, rather than the actual show. A lessigshow is best presented as a streaming video, ideally from in front of a live audience, where simple images flip quickly to augment what is being said, without the viewer needing to click to see a next screen.
If you're not familiar with the Lessigshow concept, visit one of these presentations by Dick Hardt before proceeding. Choose either the O'Reilly Oscon or the Etech 2006 presentation.
